Beginner workshops in Chennai, early 2027.
Respect for your partner. A good time for everyone.
How it works
From first step to full social.
- Step 1Learn
A two-hour beginner workshop. Learn the basic step, rotate partners and dance to a full song.
- Step 2Practise
A monthly beginners’ series, a regular night to build on what you learned.
- Step 3Dance
At socials across Chennai. We’ll tell you where, and you’ll have friends to go with. Bachata first, kizomba next.
- Step 4Bring
A friend along. Everyone here started by walking in.
Workshop dates, venues and early bird prices go to the waitlist first.
Why we started
Learn here. Dance everywhere.
Chennai already has great socials. What it needs is more people who feel ready to walk in.
We help you get there: learn the basics, practise with people at your level, then dance at socials all over the city.
Never danced before?
Questions, answered.
- I’ve never danced. Will I be lost?
- No. Workshops start from the very first step, and everyone in the room is learning. Two left feet welcome.
- What should I wear?
- Light, comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in. Sneakers are perfect.
- Is it a “couples” thing?
- Not at all. It’s about music, movement and a good time. Come solo, with a friend, or in a group.
- What’s the vibe?
- Friendly, relaxed, music-first. Consent-first, always.
